This was the 2nd Honda that I bought from Stockton 12 Honda since last July. Jim was outstanding in both transactions. My wife LOVES her CRV and we talk often about how much fun we had buying that car. It was our first new car and has been a pleasure to own. I emailed Jim this past Saturday about 1230pm, he was on the phone with me in less than 2 minutes. I told him that I was interested in a Honda Fit Sport. I came down to your dealership a few minutes later, and after he was paged, less than a minute later we were walking to look at the Fits. He grabbed the keys for a test drive, and off we went. He answered all my questions, and after the test drive, I was the one that told him I wanted to talk numbers. I really appreciate that! I do no like to be pressured, and there was none from him. I told him I would like to trade in my old car, and what the trade value was according to KBB. We went inside and I started filling out the credit app, while he ran and got me some water. After the credit score was ran, he came back with some numbers. He got it on the first try! His numbers were within $5 of the monthly payment that I was hoping for. I was so happy to see I qualified for the 1.9%, what a deal! John over at Financing was super helpful and he put together a low cost maintenance package that worked out for my needs. He also was helpful with gap insurance that I had in my trade in, I would have never thought of canceling that for a pro rated amount. Including the test drive, financing, trade in and all the steps involved, I was only there for a couple of hours. Now here is the best part, the one I picked, had some miles from a few other test drives, well he took it upon himself to get me the other white Fit with 8 miles or something like that. I love that he filled the car with a full tank of gas, it was washed and the interior was spotless. He also parked my new Fit next to my trade in while I took all my junk out of it(I really wasn't planning on buying a car that day!) He was awesome! We will not be going anywhere else ever for our future car purchases! I also thought it was true class that the manager of Stockton came out to meet with me as I getting to leave to ensure that all my expectations were met. As a follow up, I ordered a center console and rear bumper cover to be installed tomorrow morning. On Monday (one business day after I bought the car), Jim emailed and called me to let me know the parts had arrived. He coordinated with the service department a time and date that would work for me. These guys are on the ball, so if you are looking to buy a car, new or used, I would highly recommend talking to Jim, he is a true class act, and was a pleasure to work with.
